It's so heartwarming when we parents see how well our children get along! We thank God for their love for one another! Yes, there are plenty of times when Kaitlyn needs her space and gets really upset when she can't play on her own and many times when Johanna wants to be THE boss; but overall they are each other's best friends and playdates!

We went skiing two more weekends after the girls' lesson in January! Kaitlyn learned how to get on and off the chair lifts--even the fast one; while Johanna did very well with the help of her parents!

Skiing at Soda Springs was perfect for us because it was small, not crowded, and easier runs. Kaitlyn progressed to easy intermediate while Johanna scared her parents with a headlong run (missed a turn) down to the chair lift. Thank God she did not fall! After that, we all took turns playing follow the leader!

Learning to dance the hula with the outfits and DVD from their Sien uncle and aunts vacationing in Hawaii!
Otto, Johanna's Kindergarten class mascot, helped make a house for Spot (the dalmatian)! Spot is still her favorite stuffed animal who tries to go everywhere with her as well as sleep with her.
