Horseback riding on the beach was so fun, the girls insisted we go riding twice while in Cabo San Lucas! The first time, Kaitlyn and Mommy rode appaloosas. Daddy rode a pinto, and Johanna rode a quarter horse. The VERY special and fun experience was swimming with a 10-year old dolphin named Monet. These pictures show Johanna and Herbie (Kaitlyn did too) getting a belly-ride on him. Mommy chose to do a dorsal fin ride--which was faster and bumpier! Trivia: At birth dolphins have whiskers. We saw the holes on Monet.
Every day for several hours, the girls went swimming and playing in the 3 infinity pools.
They thoroughly enjoyed helping Daddy learn how to swim a little more and getting thrown high in the air by him; swimming relay races with Mommy as she tried to swim laps; and all kinds of games with each other.
The girls love learning how to do Shaolin Kempo, a form of karate. They're being taught by mostly black belts. The good use of their energy and attention/discipline has been great!
